Dear Fr. Mariusz, New year greetings from Fr. Maria Joe in India! With regard to giving a boat to tsunami-affected Dalits, there is a request from the beneficiaries. They are more in need of fishing nets than the boats now. Many agencies have already given them boats to all the affected families here. But they have not given them fishing nets. A study undertaken by Tamilnadu Fisheries, confirms this fact. So, on behalf of the beneficiaries, we make this proposal to you. More families will benefit by this modification. If you permit, then we can give them fishing nets. Awaiting your positive reply soon. Yours lovingly. -- Fr. A. Maria Joe, S.J. Dear Fr. Maria Joe, Re: Donation of $3,000 US for the Tsunami Fishermen. You have my permission to buy nets for the fishermen instead of the boats. We would like to have your report for our records of how the donation was spend - how much the net cost, how many of them you were able to buy and we would like to have pictures of the nets and the families that would benefit from it. Our AVE MARIA Children Foundation would like to sponsor, at the present time, 1 child, who is orphaned, by donating $100 US as your report on Educating the Dalit children confirms this information. Thank you for your patience and your love for the children. We will try to help you as much we can. Good luck and God's blessing in your mission. The Lord will provide always whatever we need. With love and prayers. -- Fr. Mariusz Dear Fr. Mariusz, Thanks a lot for having accepted our request to give fishing nets to people. As per your expectation, I will send you all the details along with digital photos after the completion of our work. I also, thank you for coming forward to sponsor for the education of a child here. I will send you the details of the child along with the photo soon. Thanking you for all your support. -- Fr. A.
